Cathance Cubs
Affordable baseball and softball, built for this community
Cathance Cubs is Bowdoinham's own travel baseball and softball program, established in 2020. We're proud to be the small market club with a big emphasis on affordable youth development. Every Cubbie gets real coaching, real competition, and a real shot to grow, without pricing families out of the game.
From 9U all the way to our newest 14U softball squad, our goal is the same: keep the game accessible, keep it fun, and keep building ballplayers this town can be proud of.

About the Cathance Cubs
Cathance Cubs Baseball was founded in 2020 right here in Bowdoinham, Maine. We're a small market program, and we wear that proudly. While a lot of travel programs chase showcases and big-city development pipelines, we've kept our focus on something simpler: making high quality youth baseball and softball affordable and accessible for local families.
What we're about
Real coaching, real games, and real community, without the price tag of the big travel organizations. Our teams compete hard, and every season we've watched our Cubbies grow into stronger players and better teammates. We keep tuition low on purpose, because we believe cost shouldn't decide who gets to play.
Youth first, always
Every decision we make, from scheduling to team formation, starts with what's best for our players' development and enjoyment of the game. We're not chasing rankings. We're building ballplayers, teammates, and a program this town can call its own.
Growing every year
What started as a small group of baseball teams has grown to include ages 9U through 14U, and this year we're excited to add our first ever travel softball team. Go Cubbies!
Our Teams
From 9U to 14U, every Cathance Cubs team plays with the same mission: affordable, community first baseball and softball. Select a team below for rosters, coaches, and details.
